DESIGN V
Two Garner Lane, Bay Shore Project
This project presents a modern, site-specific public library that serves as a dynamic center for learning, gathering, and connection. The design includes dedicated spaces for children, teens, and adults, fostering inclusive access to resources and programming for all age groups. Flexible outdoor and gallery spaces support events and civic engagement, while a 2,500-square-foot café with a drive-thru enhances the site’s accessibility and encourages social interaction.

GOAL
The goal of this project is to design a modern, innovative, site-specific project from the list below,
featuring a clear concept, a green roof with a specified function, and incorporating a minimum of three
other sustainable building or site features of your choice. Each sustainable feature must be clearly
labeled on your drawings.
